We are Mark and Jennifer Loper and we love craft brewed beer. If that sounds like the introduction line at an AA meeting, that would not be far from the truth except we don’t want to be cured. This is a site to show you views of breweries we visit and our opinions of the brews they create. For years we have attended and volunteered at several brew fests and even attended meetings with the Gold Country Brewers Association (A home brew club in Sacramento, California). Also we have judged for the California Brewers Festival and the West Coast Brew Fest. Though we have tasted a lot of craft beer, we are not certified beer judges yet but are merely average people that know what a good beer should taste like. So keep that in mind when reading our tasting remarks from the breweries we visit. You may either agree with us on our opinions or you may not.
