Mark was born in Encino, CA and spent his first 10 years in Simi Valley, CA. He then moved to Buckinghamshire, England northwest of London. He resided there for two and a half years providing him with the opportunity to travel throughout Europe. Mark returned to the United States in 1981. His family moved to Cameron Park, California, a foothill community just east of Sacramento. At the age of 14, Mark was given his first camera and began experimenting with photography. After graduating from High School, he attended California State University, Chico where he earned his Bachelors degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing. Mark has pursued careers in graphic design and marketing as well as information technology. Through the years he has sustained his passion for photography. Now he works full time as the proprietor of markeloper photography, marketing & design studio. He currently lives with his wife Jennifer in Folsom, CA.
