This year’s Girls in Aviation Day was an incredible success, welcoming 500 girls to a day of inspiration, discovery, and hands-on learning. The panel discussion and “ask me anything” session offered an honest, empowering dialogue with accomplished women in aviation and STEM. Their stories of persistence, innovation, and passion resonated deeply, sparking the curiosity and confidence that fuel future dreams. We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped bring this event to life, from aircraft and drone challenges to engineering projects and career exploration stations. Thanks to their dedication, each girl experienced meaningful opportunities to imagine herself in aviation, aerospace, and beyond. A heartfelt thank you goes to Sacramento County, the City of Rancho Cordova, Modern Aviation, Micron, Southwest Airlines, FedEx, Boeing, UPS, Atlas Disposal, Robert & Stephanie Snyder, Republic Services, Nancy & Alan Brodovsky, Toledo Consulting and Dry Bar. Their support and funding sends a strong message to our region and to the next generation of leaders we are committed to inspiring. This event was a shining example of our mission in action: uniting our community to open doors for young people and showcase the impact of the airshow well beyond the skies.
