the Sacramento skies were filled with the sounds of the legendary U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds celebrating their 70th Anniversary. Crowds were thrilled by the A-10 Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team, the return of the C-17 Globemaster Demonstration, F-18 Super Hornet, an awe-inspiring lineup of world-class civilian aerobatic performers, and an extraordinary selection of rare WWII aircraft. Fans fell silent when General Douglas MacArthur’s iconic “Connie” flew past which later joined the Lockheed P-38 Lightning in an awesome Heritage pass over the field.
